Initial state

Data for all objects available at the time prior to commissioning of the Eternitas system are automatically imported via menu option Početno stanje - osnovni set podataka (data marked in red are mandatory).

The basic data set in the initial state does not entail division of museum object in parts. A flat table was chosen in regard to electronic import of data since, based on insight of the state of data sets in the electronic format, it was noted that the data are not in relational databases, and it is frequently the case that the data are in the format of Excel and Word documents. An exception was made for materials, techniques, and cultures-style where in the flat table field it is possible to divide several materials, techniques and cultures-style via separator.

The structure of the initial state table was based on the structure of the Klio database which was used for processing of the museum fund at the National Museum in Belgrade.

It is possible to enter only one author at electronic entry of the initial state. If there is more than one author, it is necessary, after data import, via option  Naučno-stručna obrada, to enter additional authors.
