RESOLUTION CONCERNING DETERMINATION OF MUSEUM JURISDICTION ACCORDING TO TYPES OF ARTISTIC-HISTORICAL WORKS AND ACCORDING TO TERRITORY

I

Preservational work according to types of artistic-historical works is conducted by:

1) National Museum in Belgrade for artistic-historical works of significance for archeology, numismatics, and fine arts (except Yugoslav arts of the 20th Century), and specifically for:

  1. icons, jewelry, and other objects of the Middle Ages art;

  2. decorative architectural plastic - wood, stone;

  3. frescos – origins and copies;

  4. works of domestic paintings;

  5. sculptures and reliefs in all materials up to the year 1900;

  6. works of foreign paintings since the earliest periods;

  7. domestic graphics and drawings up to the year 1900;

  8. foreign graphics and drawings;

  9. money, medals, plaques, and epigraphy.

2) Ethnographical Museum in Belgrade for artistic-historical works of significance to ethnography, sorted in main groups – economy, houses, and houses and furniture, dressing and garnishing, customs, beliefs and cults, musical instruments, entertainments and knowledge and crafts, and specifically for:

  1. items of suburban architecture;

  2. wooden, metallic, and textile furniture and cookware;

  3. items of urban architecture and furniture of the Balkan bazaar (wooden furniture, metallic cookware, blankets, and such);

  4. agricultural devices and tools (cattle breeding, farming, cottage industries, supplemental industries;

  5. tools and products of rural crafts;

  6. tools, workshops, guild and craft products of the Balkan bazaar crafts;

  7. resources and objects related to transportation, transfer of goods, trade and measures and tallies;

  8. rural costumes, ornaments and other objects for garnishing;

  9. urban costumes and jewelry of the Balkan bazaar;

  10. items related to customs, beliefs and cults (icons on wood and glass, masks, amulets, vows, poskurnice, šaralice, and such);

  11. musical instruments;

  12. children’s toys;

  13. items of national medicine and veterinary;

  14. artworks of contemporary suburban creators.

3) Historcal Museum of Serbia for artistic-historical works of significance for history of Serbia, and specifically for: 

  1. weapons and military equipment since the late Middle Ages , and specifically:

    1. coldarms of craft and factory production (knives, yataghans, sabers, swords, defensive weapons),

    2. weapon accessories (metal and leather bandoleers, oil receptacles, powder flasks, ramrods, molds for projectile casting, powder gauges),

    3. firearms of craft and factory production (rifles, pistols, powder guns, cannons and all other types of firearms),

    4. military equipment (leather sacks, saddles, drums, soldier cases, silavas, canteens, satchels, horse equipment);

  2. uniforms – uniform apparel of a member of a specific vocation, and specifically:

    1. soldier uniforms, uniforms of servants of public transportation, police, post office, customs, etc.,

    2. uniforms of civil defense,

    3. uniforms of certain organizations (falcons, scouts, boyscouts, youth work initiatives -ORA),

    4. uniforms of certain associations (musical, firefighting, sports, hunting, etc.);

  3. flags;

  4. blazonry, and specifically:

    1. medals and commemoratives in virtue of decorations and brevets,

    2. medals, amulets, badges, marks, stripes;

  5. memorials and memorial items related to significant persons and events, as well as characteristic items which have had or have exploitable value;

  6. maps, plans and atlases (geographic, political, natural, historical, demographic, cultural, ethnographic, military, administrative, urban, transportational);

  7. economic-technical material products in factories (resources for production and products which illustrate economic development);

  8. seals (of institutions, organizations, boards, associations, persons), stamps, rings, molds for seals, seal imprints;

  9. posters, leaflets, bulletins, manifestos;

  10. photographs and picture postcards of historical content;

4) Museum of Applied Arts for artistic-historical works of significance to applied arts – artistically shaped objects which serve for utilization and decoration, specifically for:

  1. ceramic objects, glass, metal, porcelain, stone, wood, bone, horn, leather;

  2. stylistic furniture;

  3. textile and bones (except national and Serbian urban costumes);

  4. artistic embroidery and lace;

  5. clocks;

  6. artistically processed iron and molds for objects of art;

  7. musical instruments (exept national) and musical accessories;

  8. tapestry, oriental carpets and rugs;

  9. experimental and artistic photography;

  10. reply postcards;

  11. works of contemporary applied arts and design;

5) Museum of Contemporary Arts for artistic-historical works of significance to contemporary fine arts from 1900 to present, specifically for:

  1. paintings (oil, tempera, aquarelle, pastel, and such);

  2. skulptures and objects;

  3. graphics and drawings;

  4. new media (film, photography, video, happening, instalations, and such);

6) Natural History Museum for artistic-historical works of significance to the history of nature from the areas of minerology, paleonthology, botany, zoology, hunting and forestry, and specifically for:

  1. minerals;

  2. boulders;

  3. ores;

  4. fossiles;

  5. plants;

  6. animals;

  7. hunting trophies;

  8. hunting accessories;

  9. material from the area of forestry;

7) Museum of Science and Technology for artistic-historical works of significance to the history of science, engineering, technology, and specifically for:

  1. products of craftsmanship which directly precede the industrial production and products of industry (tools, plant machinery, microelectronic products, computer technology items, domestic appliances, electric appliances for the media, electronic transceivers, items of photo and video technology, agricultural machinery and equipment, tools and machines for production of weapons, items of glass and ceramics industry, items of textile industry, transportation means, firefighting devices);

  2. scientific-technological, laboratory and personal items of great scientists from the natural sciences;

  3. proјects and scale models of distinguished architects;

  4. electric power devices;

  5. industrial units for energy production;

  6. interactive exhibits and tuitions;

  7. musical automatons and instruments;

  8. objects and machines for writing and printing;

  9. instruments for measuring;

  10. means for production and processing of metals;

  11. medical instruments and devices;

  12. equipment and documentation of natural sciences.

II

Tasks related to protection of artistic-historical works for a specific territory are conducted by:

  1. Museum in Aranđelovac
    for the territory of municipalities of Aranđelovac and Topola;

  2. Museum of the city of Belgrade
    for the territory of municipalities: Baraјevo, Voždovac, Vračar, Grocka, Zvezdara, Zemun, Lazarevac, Mladenovac, Novi Beograd, Obrenovac, Palilula, Rakovica, Savski venac, Sopot, Stari grad and Čukarica;

  3. Museum of mining and metallurgy Bor
    for the territory of municipalities: Bor and Maјdanpek;

  4. City museum in Bečeј
    for the territory of municipality of Bečeј;

  5. National museum in Valjevo
    for the territory of municipalities: Valjevo, Osečina, Ub, Laјkovac, Ljig and Mionica;

  6. Cultural center - Native museum Vlasotince
    for the territory of municipalities: Vlasotince and Crna Trava;

  7. National museum in Vranje
    for the territory of municipalities: Vranje, Buјanovac, Preševo, Trgovište, Bosiljgrad, Surdulica and Vladičin Han;

  8. National museum in Vršac
    for the territory of municipalities: Vršac, Alibunar, Bela Crkva and Plandište;

  9. Museum of the Rudnik-Takovo area in Gornji Milanovac
    for the territory of municipality of Gornji Milanovac;

  10. National museum in Zaјečar
    for the territory of municipalities: Zaјečar and Boljevac;

  11. National museum in Zrenjanin
    for the territory of municipalities: Zrenjanin, Novi Bečeј, Nova Crnja, Sečanj and Žitište;

  12. Native museum in Јagodina
    for the territory of municipalities: Јagodina, Svilaјnac, Despotovac and Rekovac;

  35. Senćanski museum
    for the territory of municipalities: Senta, Kanjiža and Novi Kneževac;

  36. Museum in Smederevo
    for the territory of municipality of Smederevo;

  37. Cultural Center – National museum Smederevska Palanka
    for the territory of municipalities: Smederevska Palanka and Velika Plana;

  38. City museum in Sombor
    for the territory of municipalities: Sombor, Apatin, Kula and Odžaci;

  39. Museum of Srem in Sremska Mitrovica
    for the territory of municipalities: Sremska Mitrovica, Šid and Irig;

  40. City museum in Subotica
    for the territory of municipalities: Subotica, Bačka Topola and Mali Iđoš;

  41. National museum in Užice
    for the territory of municipalities: Užice, Baјina Bašta, Kosјerić, Požega, Arilje, Čaјetina, Nova Varoš and Sјenica;

  42. National museum in Čačak
    for the territory of municipalities: Čačak, Lučani and Ivanjica;

  43. National museum in Šabac
    for the territory of municipalities: Šabac, Bogatić, Vladimirci and Koceljeva.
